I read the book "From Gigolo to Jesus", What a book. I am so glad for the honesty. I think the world need more honest writers. This book should be part of a required reading for students in High School. Yes, High School. This is the age when students think they know it all. I sub at a High School and I listen to a lot of immature comments. A lot of students fathers are not in the home. Thank You KL Belvin and your wife Tiffany who loves you for you. What can I say? KL you are truly blessed with the gift of writing. The first book I read was his most recent called Lukewarm Saint. What a book! I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. The characters came alive for me and many times I caught myself shaking my head, eyes wide open as well as "talking" to the book lol. I can't wait for the continuation of it. Now, I'm currently reading From Gigolo to Jesus. My God, my God! I knew you loved women but not in such depth that this book reveals. The first book I read by Bravin was From Gigolo to Jesus. I was truly amazed that K L was so transparent in his writing. I was on edge waiting for Lukewarm Saint to be released. The book speaks to many in the body of Christ who want to straddle the fence without making a total commitment to Christ. The characters are real. Some authors develop characters that are unbelievable. It was refreshing to be able to relate to the characters.

I am officially a fan having read from Gigolo to Jesus and most recently Lukewarm Saint I am convinced KL Belvin has the stories and scenarios we as the body of believers can delve into knowing our reading is going to be a positive experience that fuels our faith instead of feeding our flesh. I loved the fact that I could leave my book on my kitchen table instead of having to read it only in stolen moments and the excitement and energy as I read was always hope for the characters. Keep up the good work.

This book is essentially KL’s multifaceted autobiography. He speaks candidly on his life, shortcomings, struggles and subsequent transformation from a woman hating lost soul to a strong, centered, compassionate man of God.
This chronicle of K.L.’s life has been and is unfortunately being played out every day with our young men. There are a myriad of reasons one may travel this path (male or female). The Body of Christ must step up and begin to educate our youth about sex, pornography and Godly relationships. He encourages, not just our youth, but anyone struggling with a sexual addiction to make that 180 degree turn and ‘walk it out.’
On a side note, it is important to understand that there is always more than one way (mindset) to read a book. When the author started speaking early on to parents, I chose to glean as much advice as possible – being a single mother to a growing man-child. I am constantly looking for ways to protect my child.
I understood and appreciate everything I’ve read. However, this one quote spoke more to me as a parent.
As parents we can’t allow anyone to slide past our defenses. Don’t allow anyone to get close enough to your son or daughter until you have armed them with the positives and negatives of their actions in relationships. Arm them with more self-worth than they can hold.
Help them to understand that they are the anchor to their soul; that God will be there to protect them even if they have to stand all by themselves. Use every ounce of the nurturing powers that God has given you. Form a hedge around your children that you are there even when they don’t see you.

I will no doubt reread parts of this book again…Thank you Bro. K.L. for such an enlightening and transparent look at your life and journey.
